Heat rising off desert sand bends light until the horizon seems to move, and the PASCAL ‘Mirage’ watch takes its shape from that moment. The square case softens at the edges as if the metal had started to flow, while 0.83 carats of diamonds follow each curve and a 0.02-carat Eternal Green Diamond sits on the crown like an oasis.

The design began with a conflict between two ideas. Art Deco relies on straight lines, firm proportions and repeated geometry, while a mirage has no fixed outline at all. ‘Mirage’ keeps the Art Deco frame of a square watch and lets the contours melt just enough to suggest movement, so the piece looks structured from across a room and fluid up close.
Diamond placement follows the case instead of sitting in a plain circle around the dial. The stones trace the flowing lines of the bezel, so light travels along the edges each time the wrist turns. Under daylight the effect resembles heat shimmer, and under evening light the stones read more like stars scattered across a dark sky.
The Eternal Green Diamond on the crown carries the oasis idea. Green rarely appears on a diamond watch, and a 0.02-carat stone stays discreet while still catching the eye when a hand reaches to set the time. That single spot of color gives the cool white sparkle of the case one warm counterpoint.
Size was settled early in the process. A watch meant for daily wear needs to sit close to the wrist, so the case measures 22 mm by 28 mm with a 15 mm lug width. That proportion suits slimmer wrists and layers easily beside bracelets without crowding the arm.
Inside, a Swiss Ronda 751 quartz movement keeps time without winding, so the watch is ready the moment it leaves the drawer. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the stainless steel case carries 3 ATM water resistance for handwashing and a walk in light rain.
A black leather strap closes with a folding clasp and adjusts for wrists from 14 cm to 21 cm. The 13 mm strap width keeps the band in proportion with the small case, so the watch never looks top-heavy on a narrow wrist.
Two finishes are offered. The silver version pairs a steel case with a beige dial for a soft, sandy tone, while the gold version uses a gold case and gold dial for a warmer, more decorative look. The gold version also comes with an interchangeable strap, so the same watch can move from leather to another band without a trip to a jeweler.
Two gift sets now carry the design beyond the wrist. The ‘Mirage’ Diamond Watch & Ring Gift Set pairs the watch with a gold diamond ring offered in several ring sizes, and the ‘Mirage’ Diamond Watch & Bracelet Gift Set adds a diamond bracelet in small, medium and large. Both sets repeat the fluid lines of the case, so watch and jewelry look designed together instead of matched after the fact.
‘Mirage’ belongs to a wider group of surrealist-inspired watches, yet its focus is different. Other designs distort the numerals or twist the dial itself, while ‘Mirage’ keeps the dial clean and puts all the motion into the outline of the case and the path of the diamonds. The result is quieter and easier to wear with tailored jackets, evening dresses or a plain knit sweater.
Every diamond on ‘Mirage’ is lab-grown, in keeping with the stones used across PASCAL jewelry and watches. Each piece is responsibly sourced and finished by hand, and each watch is backed by a two-year warranty covering material and workmanship.
The two finishes also suit different wardrobes. The silver case with its beige dial sits comfortably next to white gold, platinum-toned rings and cool fabrics, while the gold case leans toward yellow gold jewelry and warm evening colors. Both share the same 0.83 carats of diamonds and the same green crown, so the choice comes down to metal tone alone.
A mirage is a trick of light that looks solid until it fades, and the watch borrows that tension between firm structure and soft illusion. With the two gift sets added, the ’mirage’ watch now sits at the center of a small family of pieces that share the same melting square outline and the same green point of light on the crown.
