Florida regenerative medicine center marks a decade of growth while expanding its approach to non-surgical orthopedics, cellular therapy and longevity medicine
VERO BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Regenerative Biologics Institute (RBI), a Vero Beach-based regenerative medicine and longevity center, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, marking a decade of providing patients with advanced regenerative and non-surgical treatment options while continuing to expand its clinical capabilities and focus on emerging regenerative science.
Founded in 2016, RBI was built around the concept of bringing scientific expertise and clinical care together under one roof. Over the past decade, the institute has evolved from a practice primarily focused on regenerative orthopedic procedures into a multidisciplinary center offering regenerative medicine, peptide therapy, functional health and longevity-focused services.
“When we opened RBI ten years ago, regenerative medicine was a much smaller and less understood field,” said Jason Griffeth, M.S., Clinical Director and Cell Scientist at Regenerative Biologics Institute. “Our vision was to build a center where regenerative science and clinical medicine worked together rather than existing separately. Ten years later, we continue to expand that model by evaluating new technologies, following advances in regenerative science and providing patients with a broader range of treatment options.”
RBI’s regenerative medicine programs include image-guided joint and spine procedures, platelet-rich plasma therapies and cellular treatment options. The institute has also expanded into functional health, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, medical weight management and other services focused on healthy aging and performance.
A central part of RBI’s philosophy is that regenerative medicine should not be approached as a single treatment or one-size-fits-all procedure.
“One of RBI’s greatest strengths has always been the collaboration between scientists and clinicians,” Griffeth said. “We don’t believe every patient needs the same treatment. The goal is to first understand the patient’s condition, medical history and objectives and then determine which options, if any, may be appropriate.”
As public interest in regenerative medicine has increased, so has the number of treatments and claims patients encounter. RBI emphasizes patient education, diagnostic evaluation and realistic discussions regarding potential benefits, limitations, alternatives and expected outcomes.
“Regenerative medicine has changed dramatically during the past decade, but patients still need help separating promising science from marketing hype,” Griffeth said. “Emerging therapies should be evaluated based on the quality of the science, the biological product or technology being used, how it is administered, appropriate patient selection and the regulatory environment surrounding it.”
As RBI enters its second decade, the institute is also expanding beyond regenerative injections alone.
One of its latest additions is SoftWave Therapy, a non-invasive acoustic-wave technology that provides RBI’s clinical team with another option within its musculoskeletal treatment platform. The addition reflects RBI’s broader effort to develop a continuum of non-surgical care incorporating multiple treatment modalities.
“Adding technology such as SoftWave is part of a much bigger evolution at RBI,” Griffeth said. “What excites us isn’t simply adding another device or treatment. It’s expanding the number of tools available to our clinical team so that treatment recommendations can be individualized rather than trying to fit every patient into one particular modality.”
RBI’s next phase of growth is also increasingly focused on the connection between regenerative medicine and longevity. The institute has expanded services addressing metabolic health, hormone optimization, body composition, peptide therapy and other factors that may influence how people feel, perform and age.
“We believe the future of regenerative and longevity medicine will be much more personalized, measurable and integrated,” Griffeth said. “Joint health, muscle mass, metabolic health, hormones, body composition and physical performance don’t exist independently of one another. Our goal over the next decade is to continue bringing those pieces together in a thoughtful way.”
RBI plans to continue evaluating developments in cellular medicine, regenerative orthopedics, recovery technology and longevity science while expanding patient education and outcome tracking.
“The first ten years were about building the foundation,” Griffeth said. “The next ten years are about integration. We want RBI to continue evolving into a center where patients can access advanced regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal technologies and longevity strategies while having a team that understands the science behind those options.”
